18 Week Training Program ideal for Olympic an Santa Barbara Long Course Distance

I have written this program for an Olympic to Long Course Event. It is ideal for a Female/Male Intermediate to seasoned Triathlete. . If your have never been coached as a "Triathlete" before this a great program to start out with. It allows you to feel what its like to Build your Training towards a Race, recover and point towards the next event .

I based the workouts using a Heart Rate*(HR) monitor or Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE). For those of you that are not familiar with HR workouts you will be able to view the Rating of Perceive Exertion Chart* (RPE) along with an Race Day Equipment List on this web page. Both these indicators (HR & RPE) are very important in your athletic career to learn about and they will also help you throughout the rest of your life staying in tune with your body.

12 Week Long Course Training Schedule

This 12 week program was written for a Spint Course for Intermediate to advanced Triathletes.This program will run continually through September 09 so you will be able to adjust your racing and not be concerned about going over the twelve weeks.
